What is Google Drive


Google Drive is a cloud storage service that allows storing and synchronizing files over a network. In simple words we can imagine Google Drive as a storage space of data, a hard disk instead of being physically present in our computer is hosted by Google on its servers and is accessible from any drive-logodevice connected to the Internet.
Using Google Drive can store and share files, documents, photos, music, videos and view them from any computer, tablet or smartphone connected to the Internet. All files are private but if you choose to share them can become accessible to anyone

Google Drive can be used in two different ways: via the Web or via PC by installing an application on your computer. If you choose to install the application on your computer, you create a folder on your desktop that will automatically sync with Google Drive on the web. Any files added to this folder will be stored in Google Drive on the web and on any file in Google Drive on the web will be displayed in this folder.

SYNC OPTIONS

Account

Advanced
In Proxy settings we can choose whether to use or not use a proxy.
In Settings bandwidth select Limit to if we want to choose the speed of download and upload speeds (in kilobytes per second) from assign to Google Drive. Select No limit to allow the maximum speed.
In System Settings choose Start Google Drive at boot if we want the synchronization solutions among the items in the Google Drive folder and the items in My file is started immediately after booting Windows.

STORAGE SPACE

The storage space offered by Google Drive is currently 15 GB but can be increased at any time a monthly subscription. Free space is not reserved exclusively to Google Drive but is shared with Gmail and Google+ Photos.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU EXCEED THE LIMIT OF 15 GB
